     Three Philosophical views

The three levels of body mind and Consciousness  are these three levels. The three levels however cannot be understood as supremacy of one over the other. The three are only the ways of evolutionary understanding.

A classical physicist says it is a solid mass under the laws of gravity etc. He considers the stone is different from a human body.

- A quantum physicist says it is quantum pack of energy. He considers both the stone and body are quantum packs of energy, but still there is slight difference.

-

A dvaitic is like the classical physicists who says the paramatman is different from the jiva.

A vishist is like the quantum physicist, who says the paramathan and the jiva are same but slight difference.

A advaitin is one who says there is no difference and the difference is only maya (which means not there but sees only at the gross level and not at the ultimate level).

Adishankara, Sri Ramanuja and Sri Madhavacharya have done independent analysis of the ancient texts and formulated stunning philosophical formulations. Shankars’s ‘Advaita’ which unifies God and Man, Ramanuja’s, “Vishista-Advaita” which makes existence a journey towards unification and Madhacharya’s ‘Dwaita’ which separates the Creator from the created.

Carvaka philosophy

Carvaka (Cārvāka) is a system of Indian philosophy that assumed various forms of philosophical skepticism and religious indifference.[1] It is also known as Lokāyata. It is named after its founder, Cārvāka, author of the Bārhaspatya-sūtras.[2]

In overviews of Indian Philosophy, Carvaka is classified as a "heterodox" (nāstika) system, the same classifcation as is given to Buddhism and Jainism.[3][4] It is characterized as a materialistic and atheistic school of thought. While this branch of Indian philosophy is not considered to be part of the six orthodox schools of Hinduism, it is noteworthy as evidence of a materialistic movement within Hinduism.[5]

It is important to understand the difference between science, religion, atheism and spiritual at this juncture.

Mahabharata - the great internal war.

It is very fascinating to experience this great war fought thousands of years ago, now in our own mind. This was the state of Arjuna, one of the heroes of the great epic, Mahabharata.

Sage Vyasa, the author have helped millions of human by recording the most  practical advice ever offered on earth, the Bhagavad Gita. When Arjuna was confused, his cousin Krishna gave the greatest practical message to fight both the internal and external war, which stood the test of time over centuries. Vyasa could not resist to capture this splendid knowledge as a separate text called "Bhagavad Gita" , which is often praised as the precious "Diamond-Pendant" in the golden chain of Mahabharatham.

Interesting facts of MBH

 Shree Kapila Acharya

The Father of Patterns

He introduced patterns (five-pattern) to explain the Cosmic secrets to the highest intellectuals to the simple layman and a child. He is the founder of the first School for learning in Kashi, Vaaranasi, India.

Modern scientific method is a logical approach in solving problems by observing and collecting data, formulating hypothesis, testing hypothesis and formulating theories that are supported by data. Scientists then attempt to find relationships and patterns from the data (Reference- Modern Chemistry- by Raymond E. Davis , Regina Frey, Mickey Sarquis, Jerry L. Sarquis,  Holt, Renehart, Winston  Publisher-2006.ISBN- 0-03-073546-7 (page 29-30)

Kapilacharya like ancient Rishis used a different approach of not relying on the senses collected data. This is the greatest contribution of mankind because, the sensorial data is very biased in its measurements and heance we see scientific theories disproved when sophisticated and subtler means of collecting data are discovered. This is not the problem of the ancient Indian scientific approach (Universal Selftual Pattern - 2015).

His Samkya method of viewing (Darshana) and understanding Vedic supreme knowledge, was used by Sree-Krishna in Bhagavad Gita and other highest Conscious people. Overtime, this five-pattern method was expanded into Ashtanga-Yoga by Sage Patanjali. Again after many years, this great knowledge was simplified into other views like Nyaya, Vaiseshika, Mimamsa and Vedanta.

Unfortunately, we now have the Vedic knowledge completely diluted and mis interpreted from the Samkhya method. Uni5 is a renewal of understanding this knolwedge for living a peaceful and meaningful and happy life.

Kapila- Acharya- is one of the greatest teachers of Bhaarath. He gave to Bhaarath, the  pattern of energy evolution, the Pancha Bhootas.

He gave this pattern based teaching to efficiently teach complexity of the life. His mother Devahuti was his first student. He taught the Unifying pattern first to his mother, which latter called as Samkhya (to unify or integrate) Philosophy. The teaching was given when his mother expressed inspite of all material comforts, she still feels incomplete in life.

The Samkhya school is wrongly considered as dualistic and atheistic. It is called as dualistic because it differentiates Consciousness from Energy. It is atheistic because he denies the existance of a personal God.

After that he established the first Gurukula school system of teaching the patterns in five years from age of 8 to 13. This continued as a the teacher-student-heritage (Guru-Shishya parampara).

Buddhist sources present Kapila as a well-known philosopher whose students built the city of Kapilavastu, according to one tradition the birthplace of the Buddha. Birth place of Kapilacharya is Pat Jhelda.Rarh.

Sources - Wikipedia

The Samkhya system is  an exponent of an evolutionary theory of matter beginning with primordial Energy. In evolution, (Functional) Prakriti is transformed and differentiated into multiplicity of forms or objects.

Evolution culminates in dissolution. In dissolution the physical existence of all the worldly objects returns to Prakriti, the undifferentiated, primordial Energy. This is the cycle of evolution and dissolution, which is very similar to the modern Science.

The twenty-four constituents

Samkhya theorizes that Prakriti is the source of the perceived world of creation. It is pluoripotent  that evolves itself successively into twenty four tattvas or principles. The evolution itself is possible because Prakriti is self-driven by ints own inherent pressure or nature (Gunas) :–

  • Sattva – a quality of primordial un-differentiated potential to dynamically flow into vairety. This is symbolized as white.
  • Rajas – a quality of dynamic activity, symbolized as red;
  • Tamas – a quality of rest (lethargy) which is totally densed Energy and so symbolized as black.

Every Indian festival is unique in its own way. Some of the larger pan-Indian festivals like Holi and Diwali get more attention and people very well know about them. However, even the local festivals like the Kolayat cattle fair in Bikaner, Rajasthan have their own significance. It comes with its own collection, legends and rituals. The Kolayat fair is a festival that takes place in between the 17 and 22nd of November (Kartik Purnima) every year in the honour of an ancient sage named Kapila.

 sankhya kaarika

Bindu Sarovar is glorified with the incarnation of Lord Sri Maha Vishnu as Sri Kapila Mahamuni on its banks, sanctified as the Tapo Bhoomi of Sage Kardhama Prajapathi, the holy place where Sri Kapilaacharya had preached Moksha Gnana [Saankhya philosophy] to his Mother, and celestial place where Devahuti attained salvation.Literally Bindu means a drop and Sarovar means a lake. It was known as a Lake of Drops [Bindu Sarovar] where tears of Lord Sri Maha Vishnu are believed to have fallen in this lake. Bindu Sarovar is considered as holy as Triveni Sangam at Allahabad. There are three sacred water ponds around here known as Gnana Vapi, Alpa river and Bindu Sarovar. Generally we find people taking bath in Bindu Sarovar before performing the sacred rites which is considered as highly meritorious.

1. "Journey to the Source" by Pradheep Chhalliyil

     Fundamental principle of Vedas

 Cosmos as a human body:

In the previous page we mentioned that the Rishi's probed deep inner and found the cosmic secrets. They said that the human body is a miniature of the cosmos.  Hence, the Vedic Scientists (Rishi's)  proclaimed

                                       "Yatha Pindae , Thatha Brahmandae"

"As is the Micro-cosm (human body) so is the Macro-cosm (Universe)".

This Sanskrit verse means that this Universe is like this body and vice versa. This means that all the laws that govern this human body also governs the laws of Universe. Our human body is just a micro-cosm of the Macro-cosm.

Now what is surprising is that the Modern scientist have re-searched and found this fact as true. Click at this beautiful work of National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in Tallahassee, Florida. about The Universe Within. This will help us understand the Vedic Statement  As is the Micro-cosm (human body) so is the Macro-Cosm (Universe). (Do not miss to see the above link and see the beautiful representation).

What they have shown is the pictures of the milkway, universe, planets, Earth, finally a tree in Florida, its cell, its nucleues, it atom, its subatomic particle etc. Each picture is actually an image of something that is 10 times bigger or smaller than the one preceding or following it. The number that appears on the lower right just below each image is the size of the object in the picture. On the lower left is the same number written in powers of ten, or exponential notation. Exponential notation is a convenient way for scientists to write very large or very small numbers. For example, compare the size of the Earth to the size of a plant cell, which is a trillion times smaller:

Earth = 12.76 x 10+6 = 12,760,000 meters wide
(12.76 million meters)

Plant Cell = 12.76 x 10-6 = 0.00001276 meters wide
(12.76 millionths of a meter)

Knowing Body and Mind of Human helps knowing universe and its creation.

This is the logical approach of Rishi's to know about  the mystery of the Universe. By studying the human body they understood the physical characteristics of the Universe and by knowing the mind of the human body they understood how creation occurred.

To summarize, the Rishi's  studied the body and mind of the human and discovered the mysteries of the cosmic body or Universe. What they found is that the physical nature of human body is similar to the physical characteristics of the universe and the Human mind and the events occurring in the Universe are also similar. Among these two facts, the fact the physical body is similar to the Cosmic physical nature is proved by modern scientists also (See the above work of Florida University).

It may take some more years for Modern science to prove the other fact that the mind of human is the same as cosmic events. Now let us go deeper what technology the Rishi's used to probe into the mystery of the Universe and human existence.

Please click here to read  how the Rishi's got to know the eternal Truth?.
